We were fortunate enough to be neighor's with Skeeter for 3 years. In that short period of time we became great friend's with a man who could always put a smile on your face! His love for his family, friends, dogs, and WVU sports was evident in his everyday life and we're glad we were able to be a part of it. We know he's touched our lives in a way that I'm sure he's made a lasting impression on everyone else he's met. He will be missed by us all and our thoughts and prayers are with his...

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to the Fittro Family. I also knew Skeeter through my brother John Branham. I know that he was a very dear friend. So, I found this poem that I wanted to share about Priceless Friends.

To find a friend who loves us,
Through weather foul or fair,
A friend who's like a brother,
We know...

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Fittro family. Through my brother, John Branham, I met Skeeter. I have always considered Skeeter to be "quite a character"! He NEVER was at a loss for jokes to tell me. He knew I would giggle at them -- even if they WERE sick! Beneath that funny exterior lied a caring, compassionate man who loved his family and friends. He will be missed. I look forward to a reunion with him in Heaven -- I am sure he will have MORE jokes for...

Although I have only known Skeeter since 1993 he grew to be an important part of my life. He is a great neighbor and wonderful friend. I will miss Skeeter, his jokes, his laughter, and generosity. He always had time for me, to stop and say hi, visit me after surgery, feed my dog milk bones, and to enrich my life.
Thank You Skeeter I hope to see you again someday.
