Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home - 44th Street - Pittsburgh Obituary

Age 67, of Bloomfield, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Loving and loyal husband of Debra Ann Maciorowski; son of Anna M. (D’Onofrio) and the late Louis V. Francescon; brother of Cynthia (Winston) McKenna and Mary (Ritt) Pitcher; also survived by niece, nephews, his big Italian family, friends that are like family, and his sweet dog, Bella. A Central Catholic and Robert Morris graduate; lived a joyful life filled with dry humor; a penchant for golf; unmatched knowledge of all-things sports; and a fierce loyalty to his family. Louie will be sorely missed by all, and undoubtedly made everlasting impressions on those who crossed paths with him. We will miss him more than words can say.

A celebration of life for Louis is being planned for a later date and will be announced at that time.

Not sure what to say?

To all members of the Francescon Family, you have my deepest and heartfelt sympathy on Louis passing. From playing softball on the East End Chiefs with him and golfing at the Bloomfield Invitational he always gave it his best. He was a great guy and will truly be missed. Peace my friend.

Louie was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He always teased me when he came into the drug store. Occasionally he’d give me a lift home when I still lived in Bloomfield. I loved talking to him. It breaks my heart to hear that such a wonderful man has left us. My deepest condolences to his family.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Louis grew up around the corner from us we lived on shetland him and his family live on paulson. You have our deepest condolences from the constable/ Molitierno families. Our mutual friends were BB and fuzzhead Barry and the Accettulla family. May he rest in peace.
