Dear Lucille and the Fusco Family,

Lou was one of the most dedicated teachers who ever walked the halls of Carrigan Middle School. He, with that staff, instead of a cane to walk with, was like a person tending to his "flock". He had an easy going way with all the students and the entire faculty.

When we had a school dance, we didn't gave enough money to pay for a D.J.. I volunteered,and Lou made a posters for the hallways at school. He also made a poster of me as "Wolfman...

Mr.Fusco was my art teacher at Carrigan in the early 1990's and one of the few teachers who's name and face I've always remembered. If you were naughty in his class he would make you wear an extra large ugly tie all day and every one in the building would know what you did. It wasn't funny if you were the kid getting in trouble but it was hilarious for everyone else and after the first few weeks of school no one ever acted up in his class. We have such fond memories of Louie as a neighbor, friend, family member, and devout Catholic. Whenever good words needed to be given at services, Louie touched just the right note. Emma (Babchi) heard every word from heaven!
