Not sure what to say?

It was so sad to hear about the passing of Lou. He was one of the nicest, kindest, men I've ever met. It's no wonder he was Mr GW. I enjoyed talking to him everyday. He shared some great stories. Lou always talked about his wife and family with a smile. You could tell he really loved them. Lou could read an Xray better than most doctors. All the patients loved him and he always had a song for them. My deepest condolences to his family.

Lou was the most kindhearted, generous and caring man. He truly cared for the patients he served, often singing to them, sharing a story to help them laugh and just sharing his amazing smile, to make their day better despite being in the hospital. The halls of GW will never be the same without him there spreading his joy. It’s no wonder he was Mr. GW. May comfort find you and your family as angels lead you to peaceful, eternal rest.

Lou was the absolute best. His presence, kindness and melodic singing voice are what I remember. Truly an outstanding individual. Miss you Lou. Condolences to his family

Louis was one of the sweetest and inspiring people I've ever worked with. He was "Mr. GW" in every single way. His sincere empathy, kindness, compassion for fellow person and beautiful music made an impression on every single patient and employee that met him. Rest in peace - you WILL BE MISSED!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Louis’s passing. I will always remember his beautiful singing voice—it was a gift that brought so much joy to both patients and nurses, even in the most difficult moments. His warmth, generosity, and spirit will be truly missed.

The kindest soul! He could brighten anyone’s day just with his smile and a song. He undoubtedly changed countless patient’s lives by bringing a bit of hope and joy during some of their darkest days. Louis, you made the world a better place.

I have worked with Lou for a long time, always bringing smiles, ease & joy with our patients. Such a loving & kind spirit can only come from a deeper grounding of love's connectedness. His songs echoing in my mind. Still many, left to be sung for us here below.
Rest in peace my dear friend & condolences to family & all!

Louis had such a beautiful spirit and personality. And he could sing like a R&B Crooner. I often observed Louis calming some of the most nervous patients with a song. Sometime getting the patient to sing with him There won’t be another. I thank God for his life.

I shared many days with Lou in a ICU room getting patients ready for an x-ray. He would always sing us a beautiful song while we waited. I'll never forget this kind soul. Sending love to all who mourn him.
