Louis L. Grimaldi

Dear Valerie and family;
When my dad, Vince Dashner was in Hoyt nursing home about 10 years ago, he really enjoyed his visits from "Silk" Grimaldi, a nickname Louis earned from always being so well dressed back in the old south end (Salina area). I think Louis always enjoyed my dad also. Louis was kind enough to visit us at the funeral home when my dad passed 9 years ago to pay his respects. What a kind and giving man he was. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'll always remember Louis as one of the best looking men I've ever known, with a smile on his face, a heartfelt, kind word for everyone he met and probably the best story teller in the world. My father was very fortunate to have Louis as such a good friend. I miss them all.

We have indeed lost a dear friend. We at First Presbyterian Church enjoyed Louis playing golf with us over the years. He now joins a great band of brothers who we have known and enjoyed. You and your family shall be in our prayers. For the PGA (Presbyterian Golf Association)
