Not sure what to say?

i met Lou through my association with Bob/ Allstate insurance when i was the general manager of Brown's Auto in Chicago. since i also had the corvette bug and have owned several , Lou and Bob were always very helpful to me in business and our love of corvettes. My condolences to your entire family.

Our condolences to the Groebner Family. Lou and I bought and sold parts to each other for many years. I didn't know Lou very well personally but he was always a gentleman. I know he will be missed in our community.

My condolances to Lou's family and close friends.
I will always remember the first time I met Lou. It was at Bloomington in 90+ degree heat where everything and everyone seemed to be on fast forward - he was so calm, cool and collected. I felt right at home in his tent. A class act who will be missed.

After not seeing Louie for many years I decided to give him a call, a couple of months ago. We spend several hours on the phone laughing about old times.I laugh every time I think about him saying to me that he always thought I was a Broad that was a riot to be around. I have a law degree, but I was still a Broad to Louie!I'm happy we had the chance to share those memories together. He told me how proud he was of his children.Louie talked a lot about his brother Bob. I was a close friend of...

Heartfelt condolences to the entire Groebner family. I was shocked to learn today of Lou's passing, and am extremely sad about it. I had planned to pay him a visit at the shop next weekend. Lou was a super guy, I loved sitting down with him in the shop and discussing what was going on in our lives. Lou was a very special man, once you got to know him, you realized just how special he was. I will miss him a lot. Lou knew how much I loved vettes, so when he took me to his house to see his...

Deer Lou Jr and Cindy,
I was deeply saddened when I got the call from Chris telling me that Lou had passed. I will truly miss going to the shop and having him joke with me. I too have learned a lot about Corvettes from him as well and will miss him deeply.
God bless Lou and his family

Dearest Uncle Lou,
I am going to miss you more than anyone will ever know. Although we may not have seen each other as often as we should have, you were a very strong influence in my life - - in the background, but always there. Ray and I are so sad that your life had to end so early, but we know that you would not have liked to have gone on in this world not doing the things that you loved to do. You were too vibrant of a man. Now you are with Grandma and Grandpa once again. We know...

MY FAMILY HOPES YOU ARE AT REST IT IS A HARD TIME FOR ALL OF US .SAY HELLO TO MOM AND DAD IN HEAVEN LOVE YA YOUR LITTLE BROTHER BOBBY

It's with great sadness that I write this tribute for Lou Groebner as Lou was a very special person and he was proof that it is not the cars that make our Corvette community so special, it is "the people!" The cars are what first drew us together as a magnet and now "the people" are primary and the cars are secondary.

We have Special Collections for our cars. We have Hall of Fames for our cars. We need more Hall of Fames for the special people who have done so much for the...
