Not sure what to say?

Certainly missing Lou! For me his greatest accomplishment was convincing my mother, Gloria Kast, to travel and explore the United States. Traveling the Lewis and Clark Trail during the bi centennial in his convertible was so fun albeit tiring for both of them. Mother always wanted to go abroad but totally enjoyed traveling with Lou. I think one of their great disappointments though, was not getting to go to China to see the Great Wall, but they definitely enjoyed their trip and their...

Deepest sympathy, with a special warm greeting to Bill, whom I believe was my classmate at La Sierra.

Mr. Heinrich was one of the kindest soft spoken man I will ever meet. He helped me at a summer job teaching science (the water cycle) at Hagginwood Elementary. We traveled from the mountains, streams, rivers, Folsom Lake, the Delta and finally to the ocean! It was an amazing way to learn science. We are so sorry to hear of Louie's passing. Louie and Francis were very good friends of our parents, Ernie and Lucille Schmierer. And so the romance began. They remained friends the rest of...

I am so sorry to hear about Lou. He was so full of life and a very caring man. We had lots of good memories together, bike riding on the American River bike trail as well as travelling. I will miss him.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family. We know he is greatly missed! We hadn't seen Lou since the move so only have good memories to focus on. So sorry for his later years' struggles.
Amazing he made it so long. Mom (Gloria Kast) was sure the heart-stopping SURPRISE! party for his 85th? at Bridges on the River would do him in. He claimed his heart actually stopped beating for a minute or more?
He was such a great infuence on my mom. She loved to travel the world but...
