Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry for your loss. The Mr. Kariel(s) of the world are rare jewels. Such a sweet, kind, gentle man in all the 17 years I had the privilege of working with him. I am just now learning of his passing and am truly very sorry.

Audrey, my thoughts & prayers continue to be with you and your entire family. Your husband, Mr. Kariel (Louis), was so beloved & respected. I appreciate the kindness he always extended towards me. I looked up to him & respected him for his lay leadership. I can picture his sweet smile now & compassionate demeanor, as well as his sense of humor. I hope that you, Nancy, Mark & the rest of the family are able to find comfort with all of the memories of wonderful times spent together. What a...

I attended Corsicana High with Audrey. Glad she had a happy life. Sorry about her loss.

a sweet, kind, gentle man. I went to college with Louis and Audrey. So sorry for your loss,my dear Audrey

I met Louis and Audrey over 32 years ago when I spent a year in Marshall Texas. They were both incredibly kind and warm, opening their home to me and making me feel welcome. Regrettably, I did not maintain...

What a kind man. As far as Mom was concerned, there was no question that any shoe shopping would begin (and usually end with a sale) at The Hub. There, we would be greeted by the warm smile and consummate professionalism of Mr. Kariel. My condolences to you Mrs. Kariel, Mark, Al and Nancy.

Nancy and Mark, although I never met your father, I have admired him from afar for years. May his memory always be a blessing for you, your children, grandchildren, and all the generations to come.

Mariette reminisces frequently about Louis, Stanley, and Maurine, as well Marshall and the Marshall family. She glowingly talks about Louis's shoe store, community work, Audrey's book. We send our condolences and love to Audrey, Nancy, and Mark, and the entire Kariel family. May his memory be for a blessing.

Louis Kariel, was always so friendly and pleasant when ever I would talk to him during our Amtrak TX Eagle gatherings and he will be missed by all of us. Rest In Peace and I know you are at a better place because you lived your life as a caring person. It was an honor to have known Louis and I will be thinking of Audrey and his family during this difficult time in their life. I am sadden that I cannot be at his service but know that I am thinking of him and his family. Sincerely, Mercy...
