Not sure what to say?

Lou was my classmate and one of my best friends in medical school. We shared interests in music, art, food, mac computers. I met him freshman year when he lived down the hall from the young woman who would end up marrying me. I have to admit carrying a guilty burden for not staying in touch in recent years - made worse by his passing away. I miss him.

Luis was my roommate in the UC Davis dorm during my Sophomore year 1983. He was a freshman. Brings back memories of his friendship and oddball antics. I certainly felt at home with when I was actually far from home as a foreign student.

I knew Dr. Kraft when I was working at Sutter Center for Psychiatry. I admired his sensitivity he had towards the patients under his care as well as his creativity. We would talk about music, art, poetry. I enjoyed our talks. I went to his house for a Christmas Party and saw his Kissmass tree. He was quite a guy. I will miss him. He shared with me and original poem that was done in the Dr. Suessian style. Again, I will miss him and feel sad over his passing.

He was my Psychiatrist at One Community Health. I loved him as a doctor and a person. He was so full of life and gusto. We often spoke of music as we are both musicians both playing piano. Our love for music cemented our friendship. I liked him then and cherish my memories of him forever ..May he rest easy into that long good night.

We just read about Lou´s passing in the Bee article about his home. Lou lived behind us in Curtis Park. As said he was a friend to every child and dog he met, I would like to add person. Always friendly and smiling, he left the world a better place. Sincerely, Sharon Helmar

To Lou's Family, Lou was an exceptional teacher who taught students at the UC Davis FNP and PA programs for many years. He brought insight and compassion to the subject of psychiatry and especially the topics of schizophrenia and psychosis. Lou was also a neighbor, and I enjoyed chatting with him in the park when we met while he walked his beloved pug. Such a lovely man. He will be missed.

I loved Lou and his passion for musical theatre. We had lunch several times, and I was treated to a tour of his home and collections shortly after I began my role as Director of Development at Broadway Sacramento. He will be greatly missed by our Broadway Sacramento family! Karen McClaflin

Dear Rose,I did not know your son,Louis, but Lou spoke of him with pride and love when we would speak.I am so sorry for the loss of this precious soul God Bless you,Rose and your entire family He is with his dad now. With much love and sympathy, Martha

To the Family of Dr Kraft, I´m sharing in your sadness ,as you remember Dr Kraft. It was an honor to work alongside Dr Kraft ,as his nurse, for approximately three years. He was a brilliant psychiatrist with a strong ethic of "kind but firm".His patient´s referred to him with great respect, admiration and gratitude.Dr.Kraft worked closely with his patients,on their journey of healing.Dr.Krafts psychiatric "Super Powers"contributed greatly to their well being, recovery and understanding of...
