Gone but never forgotten! A great soldier and friend.

Hello friend. I miss our calls. Though infrequent, they meant a lot. I'm sure you are in good company above. Rest in peace. Bob Johnson

Dear Mr. Lertola,

I don't know you, however I had the honor and privilege to meet your Grandson , Jordan Snow.

We shared a row together, on our way home, on the plane, to our home State, Vermont. He was on his way home to honor you, Sir. Albeit, I don't know you, your Grandson is a testiment to you. You have much to be proud of, it was a humble pleasure to meet you through your grandson's eyes for only the short time we spent together, two strangers.

I worked with Lou when he would plan his birthday celebrations here at the DoubleTree/Trader Duke's. I just recently learned of his passing and would like to send my condolences to his wife and family. He was always a pleasure to work with.

CsM Lertola was one of the best. He was a great friend and mentor. I will miss our chats. God bless all his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Lou,
Sergeant Major, my friend. You did more for the veterans of this State than all the politicians put together. You will be missed, Good Sir. My prayers to your family.

On behalf of the late CSM Robert (Soy) Chagnon and SSG (Ret) Michael Martell, please accept our family condolences. Many thoughts and prayers to the Lertola family.

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
