Louis William Michelberger

Louis William Michelberger, 65, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on January 30, 2015 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Louis F. and Sophie W. Kleinheitz Michelberger. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country during the Vietnam War. He was past Commander at the Edgewood Legion and served as Rear Commodore at Edgewood Proving Ground Marina. He worked 17 ½ years for the Baltimore City Police Department and five years with The Department of Homeland Security. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and a Mason with the Highlandtown Lodge. Mr. Michelberger is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Michelberger; sons, Daniel A. Michelberger and wife, Christine, of Greensburg, PA and Matthew A. Michelberger of Abingdon; stepdaughters, Christine M. Weisker and husband, Evan, of Winchester, NH, Karri J. DelCostello and husband, Jeremiah, of Edgewood, Robin N. Waskiewicz and husband, Jeff, of Abingdon; sisters, Vilma Mugrage of Essex and Luise Stone of Baltimore; and granddaughters, Kayla, Bella, Arianah, Aubrey and Rylie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
