I never meet this man; I just know that it was bobby's father.

Reading this site, he seems to had a very filled and active life.
I know that losing a father is a very painful event, which needs time to repair the hole in the heart.
I just wanted to offer my condolences.

Our thoughts go to all the Michot family: our dear friends Bobby, Beatrice and daughters, "Michot brothers" sons of Pat and Louis and their wifes, Grandchildren we know and met in France.
I will always keep the memory of fabulous persons who were Louis and Pat, their meeting with my grand parents in France, particulary with my grand father who fought too during the 2nd world war.

Much has been written about Louis and I wish to add some personal comments. Louis was a dear friend of my father, Sidney Lemarie', which in his opinion, made him a dear friend to me as well. Although I was not close to him, he always made me feel as though I was a welcome family member and friend.
