Not sure what to say?

Sending my love to all those close to Louis. I've heard so many positive things about him. He will always hold a special place in my heart, even though I wasn't fortunate enough to meet him. He was a remarkable person. I will keep Louis and family in my prayers.

I'm sorry for the loss to all those he left behind. Wishing Dr. Monroe's family and friends comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Liza and family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss. Take comfort that Dr. Monroe is now reunited with the love of his life Joy and that his suffereing has ended. Liza, you will miss them both forever but the memories that you have and the way that they lived their lives will help to bring you peace and comfort. I can't think of any two kinder next door neighbors to have....

I worked with Lou at Langley AFB in the Intelligence Warning Center. I have thought of him often over the years. May your family always cherish the good times you had with him.

We remember Lou fondly and know that he always has had his God, country, school, and home at heart. ~Jim and Kitty Perkinson, TCC

I know of no kinder or honorable man than Louis. May peace be with his eternal soul.

Peter Shaw, Norfolk, Virginia

I remember him back in the day at TCC. Always friendly with a smile upon his face.

I was privileged to serve with Lou in Vietnam and am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a valued friend and comrade.

Dear Monroe Family:
Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you, in your time of loss. Mr. Monroe was our first Deacon when we joined West Hampton 16 years ago. It was my privilege to take the teen girls to sing Christmas carols at his home back in Dec. and to see the joy on his face again. I pray that God will give you and your family comfort at this time.
