Dear Aunt Janet, Mike and Jan;
I want you to know just how much I loved Uncle Lou. I was so excited to be the flower girl at his wedding, and I remember him at my wedding - he was so happy for me. He always made me feel special.
Lou and my my Dad, Jim, were such good friends and fishing buddies. I'm sure that they're together now. I will miss my Uncle and will pray for you.

My uncle, Karl Ploehn, spoke fondly of his teammate on the 1953 Hall Drugs National Championship team, Louis Newton. Mr. Newton and his family will be in the thoughts and prayers of the Ploehn family.
