I was stationed with Lou at the Defense Language Institute in Montery, CA in 1966-67. I think everyone in our barracks agreed that Lou was THE nicest guy they every knew. RIP Lou

You are no longer here but you are not forgotten. Your kindness that you shared with so many will always be remembered.

As a colleague of the CJ Dept. of Org.Co.Comm.College I'm saddened to have heard of Lou's passing. It was a pleasure to talk with him and share his insight and experience and just to have a good laugh. He was not just a real professional but a good guy!

Barbara and family, Lou’s legacy is large and so wide across 10940. When last I saw him, he was helping at Thrall Library. But I’ll always remember how he help a young professor at OCCC learn about writing in law enforcement in the 1980s. Ever after he’d wave and check on how our students were being helped by what he taught me. God bless Lou; God bless all of you.

Barbara I was so sorry to hear about Lou passing.He was a great guy and friend. He was always available when I needed advice or just a cup of coffee. He is one of the people I will never forget
