Not sure what to say?

Having him at all the events I was a part of was something special whether it be basketball or football. He always gave you that 'wink' of encouragement whether you won or lost. I was also so thankful for the seasonal binders he would provide for individual players. The memories he gave us are priceless and having him on our side will not be forgotten.

Dear Paul and Westdorp families,

I was deeply saddened to read of Grandpa Lou's passing. He was a great man - truly one of a kind - and will be missed by many. Lou and the entire family will be in the prayers of many...

Dear Paul and Westdorp families,

Theda and I will feel his absence at all the CC sporting events we attend.

Whether seeing Lou at the ticket table or on the bench at basketball games or in the press box at football games. It was always a pleasure just seeing his smile.

The photo books he created for the student athletes will always be a reminder of his personal contributions.

Dear Paul & Westdorp families, we are so sorry we are not able to extend our thoughts & prayers to you in person, but want you to know how special our relationship was way, way back as a new teacher & friends at Holy Name. We & the Culman's had many fun times with "LZP" & Rosemary & the family, whether it was coaching the kids in football, basketball, baseball, or cheerleading, or just visiting. It was always great through the years to still run into Lou, usually at a CC sport, & he always...

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.. He will be missed dearly...

Dear Paul and Westdorp families,

I was indeed saddened to learn of Big Lou's passing. He was such a big-hearted man, and even a bigger character! He will be remembered by family and friends and numerous others for many years to come. I have many fond memories of both of your families, and many of them even took place at the Paul home. Who knew that MANY years later we would actually become distantly related!

Lou was so thoughtful and helpful to my parents when they...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Paul family. Lou knew how to bring a smile to your face. What a ride he had here on earth! May all the memories warm your heart and peace will follow.

To the Paul Family,
Our families go back so many many years and I have warm regard for the whole bunch of you. I regret not being able to pay my respects in person, but my thoughts and prayers are with you during this special time of remembrances and good-byes.
My strongest memory of Lou was his smile. The moment he saw me or anyone he knew, he would flash his smile, signaling that he was genuinely glad to see you and let you know it. (Kind of a rare trait in our world today.) ...

My favorite relative. Back in the 60's, this "Uncle Lou", all the way from Michigan shows up with this food we'd only heard about, pizza. What a treat. Always full of surprises. Always kind. We always looked forward to the next time he would show up.It was always a treat, too, to see someone level the playing field with my dad. We thought all those Hungarians were tough guys. Lou showed us a different side. We loved him and will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
