Norman and Eileen: What a shock to learn of your dad's sudden passing. I had just received a wonderful note from "Your Uncle Lou" after I had written him following Marian's death. He wrote, "Believe it or not, I always think of you." And, you know what, even 40 years after my last year at camp, I do believe it. I am so sorry for your dual losses and know that your children and your children's children will miss both of them terribly.

One day, many years after I had stopped going to camp, I was stuck in traffic on 611 going north. I chanced to look over at the south lanes and who do I see...Lou Pollock. He spotted me and said "Krass, how you doing?"
This guy remembered my name 20 yrs later!!!!
2 very warm and involved and involving people. I will miss them, but memories are what keeps the past fresh.

We will always have good memories of Uncle Lou from Nock-A-Mixon, 1964-65. Sincerest condolences.

To the Pollack family.
Your parents will be greatly missed. My memories are of two people who ultimately changed my life. I still remember the grace of Marion as she often took time out to dive into the lake using her talent as an accomplished diver.
I remember Lou's laughter, his rants and his enormous compassion. If there was ever a greater influence on my life, I'm not sure it would compare to Lou Pollack.
Rest in peace.
