Not sure what to say?

Louis was our first visitor when Sue and I arrived in Port Arthur in 1963 from Houston as I went to work at Texaco. He made us welcome in our new home. He was a great friend as we joined Aldersgate Methodist. He baptized our daughter Debra.

What a love Louis was to our family. He will always be part of the God Squad that prayed my son. Max, into existance.

Jackie, I spent time with Louis when I was in Mo City and he helped me so much in my ministry. I first went with him to make hospital visits, then he sent me on my own. I also stood by him in worship and we sung our hymns together. I am thankful for his love, and his voice, and his smile and how he was a good disciple.
Peace of Christ,
Janet Hogstrom

I am a hospital chaplain now and alot of it has to do with how Louis helped me do pastoral care.

This man knew how to love others better than anyone I've ever met. He was so funny, extremely caring, and could talk you into anything! Such a special "angel among us!" Keeping those who loved Louis in my prayers!

He was one of the most beautiful people I ever met. His whole being radiates his absolute faith in our Lord and Savior.

My husband and I have always said that Louis was part of "The God Squad" that helped to pray our son into existence. His beautiful smile and huge heart will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones Jackie.

We knew Reverend Sada from St. Matthews. He conducted our wedding years later. One of my relatives commented on his beautiful voice. I'm very sorry to hear about his passing. I trust you have many happy memories.

We send our love and prayers for comfort to Sally and Blake, Chris and Jacklyn, Chad, Paige, and all your family.
What a remarkable life your father and grandfather lived, and he will be greatly missed.
Much love from Jay and Ellen, Reese, Leah and Andrew Philley

Louis made me feel so welcome and comfortable when I began attending FUMCMC. I will forever be grateful for his warmth and his wit.
