I'll always remember Lou and what he did for our club. I hope we can continue raising fish and help to stock Fishing Creek for the kids. I was one of those kids who use to enjoy the Marysville Sportsmen's Club Trout derby. I remember a lot of the Member's who helped and I appreciate all of the member's for supporting the Club. Great memories and great tradition! My grandfather Heyward Benfer use to take me and my 3 brother's out to the trout nursery to help him feed the fish in the 70's. ...

Lou, I think about how you worked for the sportsmen's club and how much time you gave towards the raffle and nursery. It means a lot to the kids and the community. Thanks again for all that you gave. I will always remember how you wanted to protect and do all that you could for the trout nursery.

Sorry to hear about Lou. He did a lot for the Marysville Sportsmen's Club. Thank you Lou for all that you have done and will continue to do with the systems you helped put in place.

Lou was a great guy who was ultra passionate about the Marysville Sportsman's trout nursery. He was absolutely committed to the outdoors lifestyle and shared that commitment with anyone who came in contact with him. In this case, 88 years is way to short. I miss him already.
