Not sure what to say?

Lou was a great friend and neighbor on the "red brick hill." He and my Dad, Jordan Tannenbaum, had many years of sharing meals, movies, and helping others on the hill. Lou was the architect for the extension on our house, which is still wonderful today. - Marc Tannenbaum

To the Skoler Family - We were sorry to hear of your loss. Our sincere condolences to everyone.

Harry and Family - You were a good friend to my brother, Allan, and I was sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Our sincere condolences to all.

I grew up two doors down from Lou Skoler and will always remember the the gentle man with the refined sense of design. We saw the moon landing from Lou's modern house - I felt that I could see to the future through his eyes. He was an inspiration to both my brother and I who followed his footsteps to Cornell and then to architecture. My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and Harry and their family.
Love,

John

A brief note on behalf of all of us in New Mexico and California. Lou was more than an uncle - he was a supportive and generous friend to all his nieces and nephews. Love to all of you.

My deepest condolences.

From Li, Don, and Sonny, our condolences to Lisa, Harry, and the family of Louis Skoler. Lou and Ceil were amazing to all of us for so many years, and we will certainly never forget your love and friendship. We feel so lucky to have been a part of your life and are so deeply saddened by your passing.

We will miss you very much Lou, we all thought of you as part of our family.

I grew up in Syracuse across the street from Lou Skoler and his family. His home was "cool" and ahead of it's time in design. He also had super cars parked in the open carport. I can still recall my excitement one day when Mr. Skoler gave me a ride up the hill in one of these sports! He was always kind, positive, and a great role model. All of my condolences and sympathy to Harry, Lisa, and their families as they grieve their loss. Please know that my thoughts and best wishes are with you...
