Not sure what to say?

Everyday I get to drive Papa Lou's "tank" here in the wine country. (I think you can see him in sky in the background! )
Love & Peace, PC

Feb 11, 2013

February 11, 2013 was the last time I held his hand. I remember it like it was yesterday.
Everyday since I have a vivid reminder of our friendship because everyday I get to drive his car that his family so generously gave to me.
Love, laughter and generosity are what I think of when I remember Papalou everyday.
My life is so enriched for having known him.

I cherish the opportunity to have been your Dad's caregiver (HomeInstead Companon). He was a kind, patient, understanding, and appreciative man from "Potrero Hill to Nob Hill." May you be consoled and blessed as you remember and love him forever.

I know you were expecting your dear dad's passing, but that still does not make it easy to bear. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I feel privileged to have been allowed to bring him the Eucharist, and finally to pray with him. He truly was a wonderful man. You now have your own advocate in heaven. May God strengthen and console you all.

Your dad has been prayed for on our Cathedral weekend Sick List. This weekend he will be prayed for on our weekend Deceased...

I did not have the privilege of meeting Mr. Spadia personally, although I spent many wonderful afternoons with my father and brother going to Kezar Stadium and watching his Niners play. Those I knew who were fortunate enough to have met him only had the kindest things to say about him personally and what he represented to the team and the community. As such, I felt I knew him too in some personal yet distant way. Rest in peace Mr. Spadia. You were a true "San Franciscan"

You're going to be greatly missed, Papa Lou!

Lou, after a great dinner 3 years ago near Ocean Beach.

I miss my sweet, generous, funny, loving and kind friend. His passing has left a huge hole in my life.
