SPECTOR, Louis J., passed away October 2, 2008 in his home, surrounded by family and friends. Lou never met a stranger and has touched many lives. His wishes are that people celebrate his life and remember the good times. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear about Lou. It was an honor to know him. He was one of the very few to live life his own way and on his own terms. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please let me know if you need anything.

Caring for Mr. Spector and knowing both he and Karen was a joy to us in the chemo room. He was a very special friend as well as patient to us. We shared memories of his life and laughs and will miss seeing him.
