STORNELLO, Louis Jr. – Of Grand Blanc, age 85, passed onto his Glory on Monday, September 11, 2017.
Mr. Stornello will be at the church from 12 noon and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Bob McGraw officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
He leaves behind his loved ones, wife, Bess (Barbara Kantor);
daughter, Stephanie and husband Larry Slawson,
Ann Stornello and husband Will Moseng,
Dina Stornello,
Patricia and husband Jeff Jarbeau;
grandchildren, Michael S. (Melissa)Briskey, Robert (Mandi) Wolfbrandt,
Louis (Christy) Stornello, Lynn Wolfbrandt, Amanda Jarbeau, Benjamyn Jarbeau, Nathan “Nattie” Cheiman;
great-grandchildren, Tyler, Gage, Saffron, Louis, Veronica and Chandlier;
special sister, Lydia and husband Van Moody;
many nieces and nephews.
Lou was a devoted family man, a Christian attending Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for 45 years, Chapel member, member of Emmanuel Prayer Group over 40 years, worked at the Northern Soup Kitchen until illness prevented him from being active three years ago.
Mr. Stornello was employed at Buick and was a member of UAW Local #599.
His pleasures were simple, God, family, country, movies, travel and having spaghetti and meatballs every chance he could.
He is preceded in death by his beloved father, mother, sister, Anna; brothers, Dominic and Joseph Stornello.
He will be sorely missed, forever remembered.

Patty I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing. I found it in the obits by accident, I wish I could of been there for you. That bond you and your dad had was awesome. Let me no on facebook if you need to talk or if there is anything I can do for you.

Barb...you know how much I love you and Lou. I am gonna miss him tremedously. I already do. May he enjoy his time up in heaven. I forgot to tell him to save me a spot...hope he does. Love ya barb.
