Send Flowers

At daybreak on Sunday, January 21, 2024, Louis Taylor, our beloved husband, father, and friend passed away. In his final moments, he was surrounded by his wife and two sons, who told him how much we love him, how proud we are of him, and how grateful we are for everything we shared with him....

Not sure what to say?

To the Taylor family, please accept my condolences. I was greatly saddened to hear of my friend´s passing. Louis and I were fellow trumpet players in junior high and high school. We had so many wonderful times just hanging out or buzzing the Van Buren Strip. Louis was quite intelligent and I knew he would be a success in whatever he chose for a vocation. Though it has been many years since we last saw each other-I have thought about my friend many, many times. God´s comfort to his family and...

What an incredible talent God has taken from us. Louis was a significant influence on my personal career, and we worked very well together on various projects over the past fifteen years. He will be missed by friends and business associates alike. His obituary, very well written, says it all. Yrene and I send our prayers and best wishes to the family at this difficult time.

Stephanie, Blake and Trent we are so sorry for your loss. I am so grateful James and Blake have kept distantly in touch via social media over the years. James forwarded us Louis´ beautifully written obituary. It gave us so much additional insight into his amazing career and earthly accomplishments. Our hearts go out to you in your time of loss. We are holding you up in prayer. John & Kristi Koch

Earth & Sky Memorial

Stephanie, It was so nice to meet you, even if it was only that one time on the streets of BTN. Louis was on the Student Judiciary Board with me when I was a freshman and he was a senior at Westminster College. He was one of the people I looked up to. In recent years, I had the pleasure of assisting him in a business litigation matter involving a software program he had developed for lending institutions making SBA loans. He was a smart guy and a creative thinker. He will be missed. Jeff...

What a beautiful tribute to Louis. Although I was a childhood friend and had not seen him in many years, I am confident he made the most of his 66 years here on earth. May God bring you peace.

Nancy and I are so sorry to hear of Louis' passing. Over the past almost 40 years, Louis and I had a wide range of relationships - mentor, colleague, client and friend. Although we did not overlap at Westminster or UT Law, I have no doubt that his success at UT Law paved the way for my admission as a fellow Westminster alum, at a time when UT Law severely restricted the number of "out of state" admissions. More recently, I saw first-hand his passion and creativity with respect to all...

Single Memorial Tree

Louis always thought bigger than the rest of us. He was my pledge son at Westminster.
