I enjoyed his laughter as we interacted at numerous meetings at Niki's West. It was a blessing to hear from the other guys how they experienced so much with in the early days of their careers. I remember them talking about Louis being the third black man in Birmingham,Al to get to become an outside technician for the phone company. He was one of the true pioneers. We will miss him in our future "Romeo" meetings.

People die only when we forget them. Charismatic, confident, and blessed with all the Fruits of the Spirit. From the mirror shined shoes to the razor creased pants and impeccably iron shirts. You attracted followers and had a lasting impression on everyone you met. You were an inspiration to so many people. There will always be a place in our memories for you that will never die. So sorry to hear the news about Louis. I always considered Louis to be a great friend and coworker. I first met him in September, 1970, and we worked together until 1985. I know he will be missed by all.

Lewis was a great friend. I never new any one like Lewis he would help you when you needed help. He raised a great family. His wife was great. Lewis will be missed. I’m so sorry for his boys they will miss him cause Lewis was always there for them. Love you Lewis!
