Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to learn of this so late. Lou was an amazing person and bike path neighbor. He loved our dogs and loved to talk to us about his garden. You will be missed and thank you for your service.

Lou I will never forget you esp when I would see you come into church and when I would put my arm around you and be like "hey good looking how are you " and you would just smile ear to ear . And we would just chat a lil while having our coffee . You lived a long amazing life . I always said if I get to be your age I pray im as good looking as you . Until we meet again Rest In Paradise.

Sir,
I did not know you personally, however I would very much like to "Thank You" for your dedicated and honorable Military Service to OUR country.
As a member of the "GREATEST GENERATION", and a "WORLD WAR II VETERAN", you Sir are my HERO!
At a later date we will meet in that "SPECIAL PLACE" which GOD reserves for ALL of those who have stepped forward to serve their country in a Military Uniform.
May ALL of GOD'S blessings be with your dear family!

It was a pleasure and honor speaking to him at the VBOB meetings. He was always so pleasant and cheerful. I loved talking to him about how he "fed the troops". He and Dad(Morris Metz) can now reminisce forever.
With deepest sympathy,
Deborah Zarate

Lou was such a kind, sweet man. We will always remember his huge smile and wonderful personality. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time. May happy memories help you in his passing.

Jeri - I really enjoyed having known both your dad and mom - they both were very kind and friendly to me and my family when we got to see them when we visit Aunt Jay and Uncle Rudy on Avona Ave. My thoughts and prayers are with you and now Lou is visiting all his friends on the right hand side of the Lord. Carl Cimino, Pen Argyl, Pa.

Always looked forward to your big smile and hug every Sunday ! Will miss you...until we meet again in glory !!

Thank you sir for your service, you were definitely part of our "GREATEST GENERATION". Rest in Peace.

God watch over my wonderful friend and hero Lou. I never saw him without an ear to ear smile on his face. He was and always will be one of the best.I will miss you Louie.
