I've never had the chance to meet your father; however, I have heard such wonderful and funny stories about your Dad from you. You are right.."they don't make them like that anymore". I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Our prayers are with you and your entire family at this difficult time. Kathy, so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We thought of some memories that conjure up just one name: LOU VASCEK. It was such a joy to have Lou as a next door neighbor. He gave us a beautiful view from our kitchen window every fall when his chrysanthemums bloomed. And what a great, fluid voice Lou had when he became a lector at St. Pius X Church. You couldn’t help but listen to the readings! Then we had the “garage parties”. Yes, Lou would always bring the song sheets and lead us in those “group sing-alongs” of those old, old...

Ellen - Lou was so loved by so many, he was such a wonderful and fun loving guy. He will be terribly missed by all he touched. We so much enjoyed the banter he carried on with his grandchildren and we are so glad that we had a chance to visit with you guys last year in Daytona. You and your family are in our prayers.

My heart and prayers go out to all of you. Mr. Vascek was a dear neighbor for a long time and a great grill mate. He always knew how to make someone smile. I'll never forget his simple nickname for me---cook. I think I made him chuckle when he saw me cooking on the grill....in the snow!! He will truly be missed. Take care of each other and God bless you.
