Not sure what to say?

As only a second cousin and living 2 states away, plus family drama, I never really got to know Lou. I do remember his mother Josephine extremely fondly. What a wacky and wonderful woman she was! I wish my memory was better. Sincere condolences to Lou's family. It sounds like he left a warm and loving legacy. Much love to you all!

Louis was a kind and generous man. I spent a day with him and Barbara 2 years ago and am saddened by just finding out of his passing. I hope this note gets to Barbera and she can send me her number. Louis was a cousin that I regretfully did not get to know near well enough. Rest In Peace cousin.

While we both spent some time at Ohio Northern University, I only knew Professor Vottero by reputation - a very positive reputation. However, I did know his sons from Ada High School and through Children's International Summer Villages. And, from that association with his sons, I knew Professor Vottero had to be a great man. He has left quite the legacy through his sons and grandchildren. From the knowledge and advice he instilled in his family, may you receive comfort during this time and...

Lou was the best professor, dean and friend. He taught us the practical aspects of pharmacy and how to find answers long before internet. He said You don’t have to know everything, just know where to find the answers. He absolutely was responsible for me becoming a better pharmacist. RIP

Dear Vottero Family,
It is with much sadness that I send your family my deepest sympathy.
Barbara, you and Lou were the perfect couple; loved and admired by so many. It was an honor to have known Lou during his years at ONU.
You are in my prayers.
Terry Theodore

My deepest condolences and prayers go out to his family and close friends, especially his sister Jeanette, and his sons Louie, John, Brett, Dave, and their respective families. They all hold a special place in my heart. My fondest memories of my childhood growing up in Trevorton are of him & his family and having them to visit next door. May he Rest In Peace in Heaven with all his family that went before, including my...
