Irene and I send our condolences to the family on Lou's passing. I had the privilege to serve on the VBS Executive Committee with Lou in the mid 1990's. Lou was articulate, informed, warm, smart and a stalwart on the Committee. I recall that even after the move to Santa Barbara, Lou continued to attend Board meetings by driving back and forth to attend them. I always enjoyed working with him.
