Not sure what to say?

Lou was a wonderful teacher and friend. I always enjoyed his time visiting us at Fair Oaks Ranch School! The students loved to hear him read to them. Lou and I had many "Jewish" discussions at lunch. I miss him a lot! I will light a candle and pray for him on Yom Kippur.

I first met Lou when we both worked at Pinetree Community School. When I became the librarian at Fair Oaks Ranch School, Lou was retired but would come in twice a week to read to the classes. He loved the kids and loved sharing his favorite books with them. He has touched so many lives. I will always remember his kind spirit!

1998- Lou was my daughter Lindsey's 3rd grade teachers. It was his last year of teaching.

I met Lou many years ago when he became my patient at Dr. Poitras's dental office. I looked forward to our hilarious dental/debate appointments. He has such a great dry sence of humor. I had the pleasure of many dinner's out with Lou, which were filled with his wonderful stories and beautiful photographs. He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him.

I got the plesure to know and workout Lou these last several months before he passed away. He was a joy to train and always warmed my heart with his misgevious smile for me! He always made me laugh. I also had the pleasure of meeting his brother Sam and seeing them together. Lou was a wonderful man and I miss seeing him! Rest in Peace Dear Lou!

I first met Lou in our local dining group in 2003. He was always a lot of fun & loved social occasions. As we became friends I realized what a warm, well meaning, & kind person he was. His 70th birthday party was held in my home, and I will never forget how pleased & happy he was when his brother showed up unexpectedly to wish him Happy Birthday! And of course we ate chocolate cake!! Rest in peace, my friend!!

Thanks to all who have said such kind words about my brother.
I'm just really getting to know him now that he passed away..
I only wish I knew him before. Being 3000 miles apart for over 50 years made it rather hard to be as close as we should have. It's very heart warming to find out how much he was respected and loved.
