Not sure what to say?

Dear Amato Family,

Your mother was as kind and as warm to her childrens' friends as she was to her friends. I always felt welcome in her home. Your Mom would take an interest in our events and made us feel like part of the family. I know that the sadness in the loss of your Mother is levened by the sweetness of your memories.

Annette,
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Just wanted to let you know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Annette,
We are so sorry for your loss. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

I remember visiting Aunt Lou at her house with my cousin Melanie and how loving Aunt Lou always was with both of us. To Bobbi, Melanie, Annette, Joe, Dom, and all of your families, my condolences. I wish I could come home for the funeral but I am starting medical school this week and can't miss the first few days. Love to you all and my heartfelt sympathies.

Annette,
I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I will be praying for you and your family.
Jeremiah 29:11-13

As Michelle said, that smile and that laugh were so heart warming. Yes, she was a great cook, her salad was so good that when I was a kid, I stuffed some in my pants pocket to take home!
For a number of years now, Annette, Bobbi and their families have spent Christmas Eve with my family. Early on, Aunt Lou and Sam were guests also and watching them enjoy themselves so much made Christmas Eve more special.
The dignity and love with which Aunt Lou and her family dealt with her...

My favorite Aunt. Aunt Lou always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. The world lost one of the nicest, most wonderful people. She will be sorely missed. And boy could she cook! I loved that vanilla custard cake at holiday time!!

Annette,
So sorry to read of your mother's passing. Having lost my father last year, also at 88, I know the sorrow you and your family are feeling.
Best wishes and heartfelt prayers to all of you.
