I met Lou when my three-year-old daughter and I moved to Owyhee. Her friendly and cheerful personality made everyone feel at home. I always appreciated her support and her common-sense decisions and productive resolutions on the school board. Lou was community-minded and has been the heart of Mountain City for many years. She will be missed.

I was so saddened to hear of Lou´s passing. Her dedication to children by serving as an ECSD Board Member was admirable. I enjoyed getting to know her over the years in which she served. Our condolences to the whole family. She sure will be missed. Beth and Dave
