Not sure what to say?

Like my sister Judy I too have wonderful memories of Louise and Bud. The connection was that they lived next door to our grandparents when we were young. We saw them each time we visited while we lived out-of-state and always in the summer at their home on Indian Lake. The last time I saw Louise was at my father's funeral and I was so touched that she attended. My prayers are with all who loved her. She was a wonderful person.

I have so many fond memories of your mom! In childhood, she always had special gifts for my sisters and me at Christmas... from matching umbrellas to Barbie carrying cases! Then in later years, she played the organ at our weddings and grandparent funerals. I have special memories of visits to the original Indian Lake cottage and then of course visits with our kids to the "new" house on the lake.
I was out of town and sorry to miss her funeral. My deepest sympathy on your loss!

Louise has had a special place in our lives. She was organist at our wedding in 1953. Our choir director and organist at Bethany - so many Christmas cantatas and manger scenes. Her faith, talent and love will be missed.

I grew up in Bethany and had Louise for a piano teacher when I lived on Royce Avenue, as she did, in Milwood. I always appreciated her musical talents, especially on the church organ. She played for our wedding at Bethany in 1962! What wonderful memories! Bob and I send our sympathy to her family.

Louise always had and always will hold a special place in my heart. I remember the first day I met her, she greeted me with a hug and warm cookies. Every time she called our office, I would stop and think 'What a kind and lovely Christ centered woman!' She inspires me still and I will forever smile when I think of her. I know I am not alone in saying, she was a blessing and touched many lives!

It was a distinct privilege to work with Louise on special music at Bethany over the years of her service there and a delight to sing at her room at Heritage with her accompanying from memory.
May God be your comfort as you remember how many lives she touched.

Louise was a special person. I came to Bethany and joined choir almost immediately after starting. She was short in stature, like I am and directed choir with her head while playing the organ. She liked to laugh and was a fun person to talk with. She will be missed by all of us who loved and respected her. Pearl
