Louise A. Bradford, age 88, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Crestmont Healthcare in Fenton. Louise was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 11, 1923, the daughter of William and Emma Kube (nee Schenkel) and was a resident of Fenton since 1997, having lived in Warren and Rochester. Louise was one of the founders and President of the Rochester Garden Club and was involved with the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and ceramics, but her true joy was spending time with her family. Surviving are children, Patricia and husband Lynn Daniel Walters of Fenton, Donald and wife Doris of Marlow, Oklahoma, Roger and wife Rose of Davisburg; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanore Mason of Eastpointe, Mich, Helen Davis of Warren, Mich and Alice Downey of Centerline, Mich; brother, Donald Kube of West Branch; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Grant Bradford and grandson, Richard Bradford; great-granddaughter, Kailey Jordan; two brothers, William and Robert Kube. Visitation 12-3 and 5- 8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. Bradford will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Holly First Baptist Church, 15030 North Holly Road, Holly, Pastor Ed Pedley officiating. Burial in Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Clinton Township, Michigan. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
