Louise Hodge Daulton

 Louise Hodge Daulton, age 84 of Nancy, KY passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side. Louise was born on October 13, 1939 in Casey County, KY to Clifford Vaught and Cora Hodge Vaught.  She married Joseph Daulton on December 11, 1957 and they shared 47 years of marriage until his passing on January 9, 2004. To this union was born six children.  Louise loved her road trips, looking at the scenery, watching her hummingbirds, she loved working outside in her flowers, having her family together and having family dinners.                 

Survivors include her son, Dale Daulton of Windsor, KY; son, Wendell Daulton of Nancy; daughter Teresa (Jerrit) Skaggs of Campbellsville; son, Phillip “Red” Daulton of Nancy; and daughter, Lisa Oakes of Nancy; granddaughters, Teresa (Henry) Daulton, Rachel (Chris) Jones, Amanda Jo (Lewis) Tarter, Jennifer Daulton, Jessica Daulton, Cynthia (Isaac) Hart, and Samantha Oakes; grandsons, Mark Daulton, Matthew Daulton, and Josh Daulton; great granddaughters, Kortney Jone, Kiley Jones, Evelyn Hart, Autumn (Blake) Gibson; Alizay Daulton; Alexis Girtley; Makayla Marcum and Madison Marcum;  great grandsons, Connor Hart, Paul Jones,  Elzie Tarter and Tyler Marcum;  great-great grandchildren;  Kynleigh Goff, Jaxon Goff and “one on the way”.  Louise is also survived by one sister, Deva Benge and one niece, Janna Wiley both of Vaught Ridge and extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by her passing.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Daulton; daughter, Regina Lynn Daulton; son-in-law, Larry Lawson; and her parents, Clifford and Cora Hodge Vaught.

Visitation for Louise Daulton will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm                                         at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY  42503.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro David Skaggs officiating.  Burial will be at the Gaines Cemetery, Nancy, KY.

Pall bearers will be Dale Daulton, Isaac Hart, Lewis Tarter, Chris Jones, Tim Daulton and Jerrit Skaggs.
