I am saddened to hear this. Studying French under Dr. Dickenson was a highlight of my undergraduate years at Carson-Newman - followed by a trip to France with her and a small group of fellow students that I will always remember. Such vitality she had! Such zest for life! I take comfort in knowing that she is now with the angels.

So sorry to hear of her passing. She lived a full and rich life. She was my Aunt Rosemary Edens good friend and co-worker at Carson-Newman. They were blessed to have had such a wonderful foreign language department. So many of us have so many warm memories of them all there. She was always such a joy to be around.
