Louise Grubb Fabian, age 81, passed on Friday, December 22, 2017.

Louise was born on December 5, 1936, in Wythville,VA, the daughter of Hobert Neil Grubb and Anne Rutledge Grubb. She was a graduate of Wythville High School and Sullins College and went on to teach elementary school in Roanoke, VA. “Weezie” married Dr. Charles Turner Fabian, moved to Charleston, SC and spent the rest of her life as a loving mother of three children and a Citadel Bulldog Fan.

Louise was proceeded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles Turner Fabian. She will be missed by all her children, Anne Fabian Lanier of Charleston, SC, Beth Fabian Landers of Dublin, OH, and Charles Turner Fabian Jr. of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Charles Turner Fabian III, Helen Maybank Fabian, Andrew Denis Landers and Casey Rutledge Landers; her sister, Barbara Fulcher Kelley; daughter-in-law, Mary Maybank Fabian and sons-in-law, Robert Curtis Lanier and Andrew Russell Landers.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the residence of the Fabian Family, in the Crescent, at 4 Guerard Road, Charleston SC on Friday, January 5, 2018.  There will be a private family service. 

Special thanks to the team of Caregivers from Care for Life and to Hospice of Charleston.
