Louise Marie Forbes

My grandmother (Betty reagan) used to take me with her to the art center and I'm so happy to have these passed down from my grandmother to my dad now I have them and I'm in love with these beautiful pieces of art by Louis forbes.

I would love to find creatures in the wood grain and paint the way Louise did. Maybe some day. She was a wonderful artist and person. I will always remember her at Descanso Gardens, and the Forbes Gallery.

It saddens me to pass her gallery and not see her there anymore. She will live on in our memories and through her Art. She was and will remain an inspiration to us.

I purchased one of Louise's paintings in the early '70s still admire it, a wonderful flower on a large wood canvas.
