Louise Graham

Today would have been Aunt Wesa's birthday. We think about her often with a smile, especially today.

Aunt Louise
was the wife of my uncle, Wesley Hoffman. I first met her when my family was visiting from California when I was 7 years of age. I immediately fell in love with her. Her deep warmth, caring, and insite to personality were a very strong magnet into her soul. I remember her teaching us to 'spit watermellon seeds into the lawn. "littering" was unheard of in my family! she assured us that it was quite ok, and left us to 'practice' spitting. Such was the warmth and knowledge of her...

Aunt Louise was a role model and great friend to me and my family. A woman ahead of her time, she stood up for important issues that have inspired me to be a stronger person. Louise is now at peace with her parents, brothers, sister and friends. God Bless!

Aunt Wesa gave us children the run of her house when we visited. She called often after my Bob's illness. Her laughter and wit will remain with me. Bob and I and our sons hold her dear to us.
