Not sure what to say?

I have such fond memories of "Aunt Louise "and "Uncle Jack " that I will always cherish and hold close to my heart. Growing up across the street from them I got to spend many Holidays, special occasions and just daily life with them and for that I am very grateful. Even though we had lost contact for awhile I was able to reconnect and spend some quality time with her before she passed....I'll miss her dearly, she was such a wonderful and careing person....my sympathy goes out to her family......

I'd known Jack Hand since the spring of 1960 when he was working in Milon Bullock's group in Cyanamid's Pearl River labs and I knew Louise for almost that long. I guess they were a kind of quintessential Cyanamid couple.
I always found Louise to be one of the friendliest and most cooperative people in the Administration Building at Princeton. She is representative of a wonderful bygone era at Cyanamid, and I deeply regret her passing.

I was saddened to learn of Louise's death. I got to grow up with "Aunt Louise" and "Uncle Jack" - cherished family friends and next door neighbors. I was fortunate to have contact with her in recent years as well and remained in awe of her continued humor, generous nature, and independence. To all of her family, of whom she often spoke, I send my deepest sympathies.

I worked for Louise Hand in 1961 at American Cyanamid in Princeton, NJ. She oversaw the "secretarial pool" as I recall. I often have thought of her fondly over the years -- her kind and generous nature, her warm smile, and her willing to mentor young "girls" long before it became fashionable. I so admired her relationship with John -- they seemed like a perfect couple. Of course I lost touch with her over the years but please know that she made a lasting impression on me.
