louise marie hughes, age 71, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016.
She was born on December 28, 1944, in Harahan, LA to the late Joseph William Probst and Louise Schommer Probst.
Louise is survived by her sons Richard Hughes, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Memphis, Stephen and Michael Hughes of Slidell. Granddaughters, Michaela Hughes of Slidell and Gracie Hughes of Baton Rouge, great grandchildren Sophia and Peyton Berkowitz of Slidell; brothers Joseph Probst of Harahan, David Probst of Slidell, and the late Louis Probst as well as her nieces and nephews.
A native of the New Orleans area and a resident of Slidell for over 40 years, Louise worked as a bookkeeper/accountant and was an active member at Bethany Lutheran Church. She had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 3:00pm until 5pm.
Very sorry to here about Louise die on good Friday and I fell real bad for Steve Richard and Mike Hughes her sons I know it is a bad time for the now about having there mom die now r.i.p. now miss Louise I know her for a very long time now you are with God
