She was an excellent Memere; the greatest, in fact! The best crafter I ever knew, too! She used to make tons of things, like beaded necklaces and lizards and knit slippers for us; she hated to see us bare-footed. I remember when I used to stay over-night with Memere and Pepere they'd put on a cd and sing "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" before we went to bed. And Samantha used to sleep on my back or belly and Memere would laugh at me. Ah, I miss them all; Memere, Pepere, and Samantha, so...
