Nathanael David Luke, our Beloved Gift of God, was born to Kenneth and Gretchen Luke of Bridgeton, Mo. on December 6, 2017. "Nate" passed peacefully on December 7, 2017. In one day, he gave and received a lifetime of deep love and joy and forever touched the hearts of so many lives. God truly blessed us with the miracle of our beautiful baby boy, who is now with our Lord Jesus Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Jordin Luke of Boston, MA., and brothers Kyle Espy (Tonya) and Kenneth Luke II, both of Dayton, Ohio.; His paternal grandmother is Phyllis Luke of Dayton, Ohio; Maternal grandmother, Diane Gidaro of Dayton, Ohio; and maternal grandparents, James and Marge Fasnacht of Hudson, Fl. He is also survived by nieces, Callie and Liddy Espy of Dayton, Ohio and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nate was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Theodore Luke of Dayton, Ohio.
An intimate prayer service with immediate family and local friends was held at Collier's Funeral Home, St. Ann, Mo. facilitated by special friend and pastor, Rachel Klein of Grace Church Maryland Heights, Mo.
On Angels Wings (flyfreelittleone.org), Springfield, Mo. provided a volunteer photographer for a maternity shoot. Catherine Cares (catherinecares.org) provided a Heartbeat Build-A-Bear so Nates heartbeat could go on forever. Mercy Hospital in St. Louis provided a volunteer photographer to capture sweet images of Nate for us to cherish.
