Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Louise Smart. I worked with her at CDR associates in years past and she was a mentor to me in my conflict resolution work. We lost touch for a number of years but reconnected about 5 years ago when she agreed to mentor me and my business partner in developing an elder mediation training. She was a wonderful teacher with a calm style and a good sense of humor. She was a special person.

During my time in Boulder Louise was a constant source of warmth, generosity, and humor. Her laughter was mischievous and irresistable. She was an early guide in the world of conflict resolution, a treasured mentor at CDR Associates who modeled listening and caring each day. Her smiles and support are lasting gifts.

Louise was a wonderful colleague and mentor. She taught me so much in both the professional and personal realms. She gave generously of her kindness and her wisdom.

Louise was a wonderful mediator, trainer, collaborator, and friend. I treasure the years that we worked together.

The wisdom Louise gave to all the aspiring mediators is rippling forever to make a better world. You did well, Louise.

Louise meant the world to the family of people who are devoted to making Boulder a more affordable place to live. She was an important mentor to me and I will miss her so much. She and Oak live on at BHP's Red Oak Park which is named, in large part, for them.

We met Louise and Oak in Mazatlán and enjoyed spending time with both of them. We know they are together again. We thank God for people like them because they cared about others and it was evident in everything they did. We had met Sam and Louise's dad there, and we are so sorry for your loss, we pray God surround you with his loving arms and give you peace.

Thank you, Sam, for notifying us of your mom's passing. We met her and Oak on a cruise and enjoyed knowing them. She was a lovely lady
Our condolences to you.
