Dear Elizabeth, John, Carolyn, Casey and Mary Ann, and Cousins club all,

Michael, Jackson, Lily and I are so sorry for your loss. Louise was unique- so gracious, delightful and warm, with a twinkle in her eye and a wicked sense of humour. I loved the fact that for her 88th birthday she wanted to ride the roller coaster! Moving to Europe meant we sadly missed a lot of Pittsburgh visits and wine crushes, but were so happy when Louise and Jake came to visit us in Umbria and France- both...

I have many happy memories of washing grapes, of tasting my first sip of wine, eating many a plate of spaghetti at Louise and Jake's. The wine party was a highlight of the fall and as children we always anxiously awaited it. Louise always had a smile on her face and a warmth about her presence. She will be very missed.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Steiner clan.

Casey, So sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace. Jan McMahon

Louise joined our exercise class at C. C. Mellor Library just last spring. She was so charming, enthusiastic, and lively. I was looking forward to welcoming her back this fall. We will miss her very much. My deepest sympathy to all of her family members.
