Louise A. Young Tukey

Louise was a wonderful person and you have our sympathy. I fondly remember spending time with her at horticultural meetings, especially my first International Horticultural Congress in Warsaw, Poland as she introduced me to the 'ropes' of attending a horticultural congress. Both she and Loren always connected with us at the international meetings.

Louise was one of the first people who welcomed us to State College and we soon learned she was a fount of information about our neighborhood and the town. She was a friend and quickly got us involved in the annual book sale. We have so many fond memories and will always remember her warmth and good humor.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear about Louise. I told her years ago that she reminded me of my Grandmother. She helped me because when I would work for her we would talk. It was like I was talking to my grandmother! I would do anything for Louise because she asked me! I carry her in my heart everyday and I know I will get to see her again! RIP Mrs. Tukey!

Dave and family, I am sorry for the loss of your mom. She made State College a better place by her life. May you find peace in your time of loss.

Louise was such a sweet, beautiful lady. It was such a pleasure getting to know her and Robin. She will be missed.

What a lovely lady I had the honor of rooming with at Juniper Village. It was also a honor to meet Robin, who had a heart of gold, making her weekly visits to look after her. RIP Tukey!
