Not sure what to say?

I last visited cousin Louise in November 2008. We had a delightful reunion after 50 years. I especially enjoying hearing stories of the time she and my mother, Margaret Martin Cooke, spent in Geneva in 1929.

With fond remembrance, Harriet Cooke McGuire

I discovered Louise and her brilliant work when I was 20. Now, twenty Years later, I am still a reader, again and again, and I still find her books as refreshing and encouraging as ever.

Louise was the greatest female scholar of the past century, and her novel and clever approaches influenced me and my thinking, deeply.

I'd like to say Thank You and Goodbye - Condolences to the Young family, and everybody who knows it: Please spread her works.

What an amazing life of Louise! My grandfather was Morris Buchwalter Martin - and I am familiar with some of the books Louise wrote from him. We are related somehow :)
