Not sure what to say?

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers upon hearing of your moms' passing. I always enjoyed visiting with your folks when I ran into them shopping, and our friendship through the years at Gte with Arkie and Dave, lots of memories and good laughs we shared. May they both rest in peace, know they are together now.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom, Grandma and more. Know she will be missed. we didn't hear of it to write sooner. Tom worked with Dad and Dave at phone company.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will miss you always.

Aunt Lourene will always be remembered as a gracious host and a warm, loving aunt. We always felt welcomed at their home. She had a contagious laugh that was truly from the heart. Family reunions were enjoyable, as she was glad to see everyone, and everyone was special to her. She was a devoted wife, even through all the health scares and trials she and Farris faced in their 69 years together. She will be dearly missed.

I will always remember her jolly laugh and great visit to the farm with all her family. Happy days!

Thanks, Lourene, for letting us run and play in your huge yard as kids (with your kids), burning off energy while you and Farris visited with Mom and Dad. Something always look forward to. You'll be so missed.

So very sorry to hear this. I spent a lot of time at the Brown’s house/pond/woods as a child. Dave, Danny, Mark and I hold the Brown home, world record of eating 48 PB&J sandwiches in 1 day.
Good times. Gayle and I offer our deepest sympathy to the family. You raised a fine family Mrs Brown, Rest In Peace.

Sincere condolences to her children and family. Prayers and hugs during this difficult time. From Tim & Paula Kaiser, friends of the children.

Lourene (Schalau) Brown, is a proud graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1950. Mrs Brown is also the Mother and Grandmother of many ICHS Alumni. The Imlay City Schools Alumni Association families offer our sympathy to the Schalau and Brown families. Rest in peace Alumna.
