Not sure what to say?

Lovey, I still remember all the wonderful growing up years at St. Stephen´s, Mt. Tabor, and your Mom. You are missed and remembered in my prayers. Pat Allegretto-Heinz

Lovey was a wonderful neighbor. We did not find out about her death until recently or would have loved to attend her service. I enjoyed the times we talked and attended the garden club once with her. What a lovely lady. She will be missed!

I attended St. Stephen Catholic School with Lovey and we made our First Communion and Confirmation together. I have many fond memories of her and her family, especially her wonderful Mom. Also running and jumping over the cow patties at Mt. Tabor Reservoir. Always remember these things when I visit Portland and drive up Division.

I feel as if I've known Lovey Lahti for years, although, in truth, I never met her. Her brother George Rask, is a dear and longtime friend who spoke of her often. And through his words, Lovey was alive to me. "The Heart of Compassion" is the way George characterized his sister. Lovey was always there for him, and for the many whose lives she touched. I send my heartfelt condolences to all her family members and friends. May her legacy of love live on and grow. May her memory be a...

Eldon I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Lovey. You and Lovey were such a great couple at Franklin. I can still see the two of you walking down the halls of the school. I can also remember the day you came to my home selling Cutco Knives. My father bought me a hunting knife from you just before my 15 th birthday. I still have the knife and I will be giving it to my grandson this January. Kathy (Modun) Kolb and I have been married 57 years this last September. Kathy and I will be...

I went to St.Stephens Grade school and Franklin High school with Lovey. She was always a sweet and kind friend. She was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen when she married Eldon. Lovey looks just as I remember her sweet mother. God Bless her and her whole family.

We are very sad to hear about Lovey. She was everything good in life. Our hearts and love are with all of you. She will be an angel for all. Have many good memories of our times at PSU. Much love, Sid and Moe
