Lowell L. Garrett

I was a good friend of Lowell at Euclid Sr. High School. He was a senior. I was a freshman. We both played in the concert band, marching band, and pit band. Lowell played the trumpet, and few people knew that he played the piano, too. I was percussion. We spent many hours together as band members. We had so much fun, as all band people do! He will always be remembered. Rest in peace dear friend, Kay Thomas

Since my last entry I've run across two others who also knew Lowell back in the 1950's. We shared some memories of those good times.

I'm saddened to learn of the passing of an old friend. We had some good times together in the late 1950's. I became acquainted with Lowell while we both worked at Berger's Paint Store after school. Actually I knew of him years earlier because I was also a classmate of his older sister, Carolyn.

We are sorry to learn of Lowell's untimely death. Our sympathies to his wife and family.
